The course covers a wide range of topics, including rehabilitation introduction, history, physical examination, WHO disability models, rehabilitation team and goals, neurogenic communication and swallowing disorders, sexual dysfunction, orthoses in neurorehabilitation (lower limb, upper limb, cervical, lumbosacral), wheelchair overview and types, neurogenic bladder and bowel, spasticity assessment and management, chronic wounds, pressure ulcers, stroke rehabilitation, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injuries, movement disorders, motor neuron disease, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, ambulatory management, multiple sclerosis, and rehabilitation in HIV/AIDS.
Assessments are given at various points during the course, and each chapter closes with a multiple-choice quiz. Each question will give you three chances to pass. If you are unable to pass the final evaluation after three attempts, you may be charged re-activation fees.
